Alan Flam (facilitator)

I currently serve as the Director of Advising and Community Collaborations at the Swearer Center for Public Service, where I coordinate the University-Community Academic Advising Project (UCAAP) and supervise a variety of community-based programs.  Utilizing my training as a rabbi, I also serve as Senior Associate University Chaplain at Brown.  I have lived in RI for almost 30 years and in addition to my campus work, I serve as President of the Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless and am active in a number of other community organizations that advocate for low income Rhode Islanders.
